locker in a C.A.D. axle?
« on: 04/20/08 - 01:35PM »
Our wrangler has a D44 CAD axle up front. Have read a couple of places where installing lockers in a CAD axle causes nothing but problems. Can anyone substantiate this? Should we eliminate the CAD section with a solid axle, or would a auburn limited slip work ok?

Lockers don't effect the CAD.  YJ's and some XJ's came that way (CAD) from the factory and a lot of people run lockers in them.  However a solid axle does reduce the number of parts that can fail.
