Don't forget about the Dual club event this weekend, there will be lots of fun for the whole family.
Ozark Mountain 4X4 club will be there with lots of games for all the 4X4's to do. Last year they had several games that included Ball and Barrel Races, which is like Horse Barrel racing except you do this with your Jeep or 4 Wheel Drive and put a ball in a barrel which is just like the real barrel races. Fastest time wins and all balls have to be in the barrels. There will be other games they will have to do. As well as wheeling around the Park. This is a closed event for OJT and Ozark Mountain 4X4 club, at least that was what i was told, if this is different please post it on here.
For all those dare devils, you need to try Double Whammy by Pass, then on to Log Jam, Awesome trails..... Then the V-Notich gets'em everytime too.
Time and place to meet not sure, keep checking back and i am sure someone will post a time and place to meet up......

I'll be there. Not sure about camping, though.
-
we'll be there
-
i don't think there are going to be any camping there. This is just a day event.
$10.00 for driver, $5.00 for passenger.
Directions:
Coming from Springfield area: Take Hwy 60 E to Seymour. From 60 turn right on K Hwy. K will wind through Seymour and were about 5 miles down K on the right.
Coming from Branson area: Take Hwy 65 north to Hwy 14 ! ;in Ozark. Go east on 14 to K Hwy( Ava is about 4 miles past the turn on K, so if you end up in Ava you have went to far). Turn North on K Hwy and were about 5 miles up on the left.

Just a suggestion comeing from Branson. take the bb HWY instead of K off of 14 it'll cut about 10 miles off your trip. bb will take you into seymour and then take a right onto K then go down about five miles it'll be on your right. Just a suggestion and also I think I will be there I am tracking funds to make sure I can still go to Disney in July

This was my first time at SMOR with rain and mud! What alot of fun. I pretty much wheeled by myself all day (My girls and I). I just couldn't seem to get with everyone. I spent some time down at the bottom of Snow Trail trying to figure the best way back out, I was wishing I had a winch... and wishing I hadn't of wheeled down there alone. With 3rd gear, wheels locked and a little medal on the pedal, the tires were coming clean, eating ground, and I finally made it out unaided and the same way I came in... attempts to go out the other 2 ways were futile. :( Afterwards, I assisted some guys that I met on the trail and took some good pictures of them.
I was a little dissapointed with the new tires I bought (Interco SSR's) after last weekend... they are pretty soft and got chewed up on the rocks a bit. This weekend however they have redeemed themselves with the mud and just how well they clean themselves and bite when a little torque is thrown at them.
Here are some pics... pretty much all of me since I was by myself most of the day. I'm ready for Disney...
