Sorry dude, took me a bit to find mine.

Mine are 5x4.5 bolt pattern with 3.75" backspacing.

Still think you need to gear up first.  :agree:

3.5 is not very much backspacing, but it may still work.  you may still get some rubbing @ full turn.

To messure backspacing, take a stick, or board, lay it across the back of your wheel, and mesure the distance to your bolt holes.

Brad, here's a pic of what you described.

I'd put something funny here, but you probably wouldn't get it anyway...

Look at my rig in the pics I sent you of the stock run.  That's 3.5" BS with 10.5's.  They're way out there.  I love my wheels but hate the backpacing on them.  I can grind my 31" MTs on my flares going in a straight line with my swaybars connected.  I'd say that lift and bumpstops are pretty crucial factors to running small BS wheels.  Or you can tube fender and cut your rear quarters.

Hopefully I can clear things up a little.  The lower the number/size of backspacing, the further the wheels will stick out.  3.75" BS on 15" wheels is standard.  3.5" is going to make them stick out further.  3.5 is definately enough to run 33's.
