Title: Ring and Pinion Setup
Post by: 01anniversaytj on 04/21/14 - 10:38PM
Hey Guys, who does R/P setup in Springfield?  I found C&M Gearworks and remember seeing a sticker on s club members rig.  Is that the only option or does 4WS do the work too?  Want to re gear and put a selectable locker in my rear D44.  Thanks guys.  Al.

4ws does gears - they gave me a quote on mine last week.  Also, they are hosting a free Gear Install class at 417 DIY on 5/17.

Talk to Kevin at 4wheelersupply (862-4946).  He's doing front & rear for a buddy of mine as right now.

Yah i stopped by and talked to Brayden at 4ws.  Price seems good for new front and rear Yukon R&P and new rear Eaton E locker 4.  Also swapping my current front spartan out.  Most likely getting it done next week.  Bye Bye 3.73.

4.56 for my 4.0 5sp.  Will prob never go to 35s but if I do I'd suck it up.

Cool!  That's exactly what my buddy is doing, with the same 4.0/5sp setup.

That's the same setup I'm running.  4.56:1 with 35's and I also have the Eaton E-lockers.  Front & rear.  They have worked flawlessly so far although I don't abuse them as much as some do.  The gearing works very well.

Glad to hear about gears and the Eaton.
