Just wondering what kind of CB you all run .When I drove a semi I had a Galaxy Delta 88 peaked and tweaked with a 200 watt Shooting Star linear. But now I really dont think something that big is needed. For local and trail talk. Was thinking about a Cobra 29 LTD.

I run a General Lee radio. SuperWhackpacked by RadioActiveRadios. It talks, just ask around.
-
I have the cheapo Cobra they sell at wal-marts. It doesn't seem to work worth a crap, but I think the source of the problem is that I need to tune the antenna.
-
I have a uniden pc68xl it has been tune up a little.
-
I have a cobra 75 in the jeep works good for my needs when I remember to put it in. I also have had a c-18 liked it as well. and a c-25 for the tow rig when I had one was not real thrilled with it but I think a tuning would have helped

I'm running the Uniden Bearcat PC78LTW -- great radio, lots of features, has weather channels on it which I think is a must.

I have a Cobra Compact 40 with a dash-mount kit. It works OK, but it is NOT waterproof, or mud proof (I have tested both at Disney, thanks to 'Mr. Safety', and both tests failed!). I still have the water line in the 'window' to prove it! That said, after drying it out, it still works. Not a bad radio for $60

I just bought the "Cobra 75 WXST All-in-Handset Mobile 40-Channel CB Radio" on amazon yesterday. It had really good reviews. I like that you can just unplug it and put the entire thing in your glove box or console. We'll see how durable it is though.....

Ended getting Uniden PC68. Went ahead and got a extra Cobra 25 LTD just in case it dosent work right. Thanks for all the input guys.
-
have a cobra 75 in both jeeps and plan on putting the transmitter boxes in both truck and RV. That way I can just unplug the handset and plug it in want ever rig I take.

I have a cobra 25 mounted on the passenger side of the center console. Works great! It really talks well.
The only complaint it that my passenger seat does not slide forward anymore because it hits the radio... oh, And my riders hate it because it hits their knee! of well! :D
