Title: 4.0 head on 4.2 swap question

I recently had to pull my head on my 4.2 on wondering if I changed over replacing with the 4.0 l would it make much difference and what all is involved.

Can I run carb  or do I have to run fi and so on .

Please help and thanks.

Lots of guys on this site have done the swap.. both carb'd and EFI'd.  Though it is AMC Eagles, they have the same 258's as the Jeeps.
