Title: Okay, someone guide me here... putting 350 in my 92 yj
Post by: jeeotches plenty on 11/20/05 - 08:40PM
Right now it has the 2.5liter 4 banger.

This is the combo I'm looking to put in:

350/700R4/205

Also, I was going to buy the axles from Barret.

I'm guessing I can get a junkyard radiator. Should I go to an electric fan setup?

In addition to new motor mounts, I'm guessing I'll need a starter and alternator.

This has just been an idea me and barret have thrown around in the last 3 days and I'm looking to get some input from others about it.

Oh yea, I was wrong about the xfer, it is a 208 which would be better with the automatic, it has a lower 4lo.

the motor mount kit you canget from John's 4x4 for about 90.00 . I think that is what I spent on mine there. The 700r4 will be the week link there unless you have it rebuilt with heavy duty parts inside. I ended up just using a turbo 350.   my set is 5.7/t350/205
