Idling problem!
« on: 03/ 7/11 - 11:06PM »
I had to get an engine (4.2)swap done a few months ago. The engine I got didn't have a carb so I bought a new one to go on it. I haven't been able to get the darn thing to idle right. It either dies out or idles waaay high I can't achieve any in between. Help!! :102:

Larry is right sounds like you have a vacuum leak, if all your ports are blocked off or are in use then it might be the mating surface of the carb.
