Place to get 4.0

So im looking at getting a 4.0 to throw in my 87 YJ. Can someone help me out with what years i need to be looking for and if it will bolt up to my transmission.

You will need to look for a 91 & up 4.0 .  You probably have the BA10 tranny, in which the bell housing will bolt up, but you may have trouble with the clutch mating to the 4.0 flywheel.  Try to find a 92-95 Wrangler wiring harness & PCM for easier installation.  I'm sure others have different opinions on which route to go also.
