trailer hitch advice
« on: 04/ 6/16 - 09:30PM »
I have recently bought a 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited.  After weeks of searching I finally found that color I wanted.  The only thing it didn't have was a trailer hitch.  I have been scouring the internet looking for options for a strong trailer hitch that will mount to the frame and (hopefully) the bumper to increase towing capacity and tongue weight.  Can someone please point me in the right direction?

I think you best bet is the factory hitch, With a 4 door it should give you a GVWR tow rating of 3000lbs

I just took mine off because my new bumper has an integrated hitch. I'll sell it for $25.

It's a Tyger - 3,500lb/350lb tongue weight.

I only used it once to tow an empty U-haul 6x12 about half a mile.  I'm in Springfield/Battlefield.

Do you still have it for sale?
