alltel does carry the black berry, you just have to puchace an extra data service to get all the functions of the phone. the only reason alltel didnt get the blackjack, is phone companys usally only realease to one cell provider at a time, cingular got the blackjack, verizon got the chocolat... but after about a year they start to relaese to all the carriers.
