Body makeover
« on: 01/10/07 - 01:00AM »
I decided to go ahead and put a new body on this year as the old one was in pretty bad shape, I will get some pictures of it on here when I get out to take some pic of it.  Found a tub that needed a little TLC and here is the start of it.

Looks like it had been rolled at some point, think it was the last?

Here is a piece of my tub from 1 year ago that still had some good parts to it.  We are going to piece this in to the new tub.

Here I am doing a little cutting.

Here is what it looks like after cutting.

And this is what it looks like with the new piece fitted into place.

Glad to see your making more progress, I guess Kyle is more constructive.  I thought beating on it with a hammer was good enough  :agree:

Ya, thanks to 1tonYJ, for the help, he did a lot of beating on it too.  I guess it must be fun to beat on someone elses tub with several different hammers (he even brought his own).

I also thought that it was ironic that I finally got my factory vin plate back on the Jeep, see it in the last pic?

Nice, glad to see it's almost legit.

Oh and I'm CERTAIN it will be rolled again.
