XJ QUESTION
« on: 02/20/08 - 03:32PM »
I AM PUTTING A LIFT ON MY BROTHR'S 95 XJ THIS WEEKEND AND I WAS WONDERING WHAT SIZE TIRES EVERYONE ELSE IS FITTING UNDER THEIR XJ'S.

WE ARE DOING A ROUCH COUNTRY 3INCH LIFT WITH LOWER CONTROL ARMS AND SWAY BAR BRACKETS.
SOME OF THE BOOKS SAY YOU CAN ONLY GET 31X10.5 R15 UNDER IT WITH 3 INCH LIFT.

THANKS FOR THE ANY INFORMATION!

I had 32-10.50's under my 89 XJ with about the same lift.  You may need to adjust the steering stops and pound back some fender well material, but it should work.  The 31's they suggest is for absolutely no rubbing.

Have fun and start shooting the PB Blaster now if you haven't already...
I'd put something funny here, but you probably wouldn't get it anyway...

Well we lifted it and put 32's on it.  It looks good.  Not bad at all for a budget rig.
