There seems to be alot of folks against this stimulas package but when you hear about it on TV and radio it says the majority of the public is for it.

I am not sure who likes this other than those that are specifically gaining something from it.  Like the $650,000,000 that is allocated for the Digital TV Conversion boxes.  I am sure if you are using rabbit ears to get KY3, then you are happy that the Feds are going to give you a $50 coupon for the box, but believe me, you, and you kids, and your grand kids will be paying for that for years to come.

I think it's a load of crap, and a pay-off for all of the Democrats' cronies. It's also a down payment on socialism.

All those promises about CAT hiring if this junk passed is just that; JUNK. I just heard a interview with the CEO of CAT and he said they are laying more off, not hiring.....more of the same.  Who was it in history that said, "If you tell a lie enough, it will turn into the truth"?  Some guy from Germany in the 30's, I think.....

Yes, it's not nearly as much, but there is $3 million going to save a field mouse in San Francisco.  Only one thing that I'm guessing that will "stimulate".

Just remember it's the Democrats that are doing this. What your seeing with this so called stimulus package is the Democrats trying to bring about socialism. The Democrats are anti-God, anti-gun, anti-military, anti-baseball, anti-apple pie.. and yes anti-american. That's right I said it. Hope it pisses someone off.
