Console build -Tuffy style
« on: 08/ 1/09 - 06:37AM »
Well, I have been missing my old console and need a spot for drinks, and to put stuff in so i built a console. It is built out of 1/8" plate (Beefcake). The front has a plate for a switch panel is going to have cup holders. I'm thinking about extending it to my shifters and building around them, then possibly connecting that up to a flat dash(just a thought I have), then have a spot for a cb in there. I also built some handles for the lid, one is a chain >:D, u-joint, and a side gear. give me some opinions and some feedback.

Alex

I could get the pics to my gallery, but only for album covers... here is the link http://ozarksjeepthing.com/c/v/users/Jeeper+guy/

Thats awesome.  I want to build one for mine sometime.  Now I know who to ask my questions to!  I have thought about tying into a custom dash.  The are some great pics on pirate.  Lets see what it looks like Alex.
