Tires and Mounting/Balancing
« on: 11/ 1/09 - 07:45PM »
Just a heads up...

We have a new top of the line Hunter tire machine and balancer set up, ready to go.  We can mount anything from ATV up to 50"+ tires.  We can spin balance up to 44" tires.  Most tire shops in town wont even touch that stuff.

Any customer buying Pit Bull tires from us will get free mounting and balancing.

We also carry pretty much any other tire under the sun (BFG. Goodyear, Chinese stuff, etc.) so give us a call or stop by for any of your tire needs (even non-Jeep).

For any current OJT member we will also mount and balance your tires for $10 each.

Beadlocks, real big tires and other weird stuff might be more.

We're at the corner of Chestnut and Patterson in Springfield.

I've tried all the different methods (balls, beebees, ceramic powder, centramatic, etc.)  the best way I have found to balance tires is to use wheel weights.  That may not be true for small car tires, but for large off-road tires it has been (bias or radial).

Also, mounting beadlocks takes way more time to torque all the bolts and make sure everything seals.
